It Starts With A Plan.
Investing at Alhambra doesn’t start with investing – or at least not the way most people think of it. You can’t invest successfully without first determining what you are investing for – what you want to achieve with your money. Investing has to start with financial planning.
Only after this financial planning process is complete can we identify an appropriate investment strategy – or strategies – to help you achieve the objectives identified by the planning process.
The Fortress Strategy
The Fortress Strategy is our original and time-tested asset allocation strategy. It is the basis for all the asset allocation portfolios we build at Alhambra, in conjunction with goal and risk inputs from your newly minted financial plan. The Fortress Strategy uses low-cost ETFs in a diversified multi-asset approach across stocks, commodities, real estate, gold, and bonds.
The Citadel Portfolio
The Citadel Portfolio is an actively managed, tactical version of the Fortress Strategy. This top-down macro-investment portfolio largely uses low-cost funds and ETFs in a diversified multi-asset approach across stocks, commodities, real estate, gold, and bonds. This is ideal for client’s seeking a portfolio that will actively make tactical adjustments based on changes in the global risk environment, including around risks of recession or bear markets.
The Alhambra Portfolio
The flagship Alhambra Portfolio is a multi-asset portfolio strategy designed to perform well in any investment environment. This strategy retains the Citadel’s active management and adds individual securities to the portfolio. Asset classes include small and large cap stocks, commodities, real estate, gold, and bonds. This is often ideal for client’s seeking a total investment solution customized to their individual goals, tax situation, and account structures.
Our All-Stock Strategies
We have various Risk Portfolios that we use in conjunction with our Alhambra Portfolio; or as a stand-alone if appropriate.
